Orders

What is the return policy?

We’re proud of every coffee we roast and want you to enjoy it. If your first bag isn’t right for you, contact us within 30 days of delivery. We’ll help with brewing, recommend another coffee, or offer a replacement, store credit, or refund.

Missing, damaged, or incorrect orders will always be replaced or refunded.

When will my order ship?

We’ll prepare and ship your order as quickly as possible. Because we roast on a schedule, occasional delays may occur. If your order has not shipped within ten days, we’ll offer you store credit and still send your coffee.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping is a flat $5 on all orders. Orders over $50 ship FREE.

Coffee

When was the coffee roasted?

Our coffee is roasted weekly so every guest receives a fresh batch.

Should I choose whole bean or ground?

Whole beans maximize freshness and flavor. We also offer ground coffee for convenience and a consistent grind.

How should I store my coffee?

To keep your coffee fresh, store whole beans in an opaque, airtight container in a cool, dark, and dry place (like a pantry).

Is the coffee organic?

Our coffee is not certified organic because certification can be costly and complex for small plot farmers. However, we prioritize partners who use traditional and sustainable farming practices.

Is the coffee direct trade?

We work as closely as possible with our partners around the world, supporting fair and sustainable trade that helps farmers build lasting livelihoods.

Sourcing

Where does the coffee come from?

Our coffee comes from all over the world. We started with Guatemala, and we will continue to work to expand our offering.

What does responsible sourcing mean to Parea?

Responsible sourcing is taking a thoughtful and intentional approach from soil to cup by working with partners that support environmental stewardship and invite our guests to be conscious of their footprint.

Parea

What does Parea mean?

Parea (παρέα) is a Greek term for a close-knit group of friends or family who regularly gather to socialize, eat, drink, and discuss life.

What makes Parea different

Parea is committed to bringing warmth and hospitality to every guest through thoughtfully crafted coffee, creating meaningful relationships while acting with intention at every step of our operations.
